Polishing concrete not only results in an aesthetical appealing floor contributing to a better working environment but it is also highly durable and requires little maintenance. Treated with Ashford Formula a polished concrete slab with last the lifetime of the building as such the low life cycle cost make it an economical option. Achieving a polished concrete finish combines a number of processes:

1) coarse diamond grinding using our planterary 4 headed grinding machines to remove weak surface laitenance from the concrete and expose aggregates.

2) Finer diamonds to remove scratches from coarse grinding

3) Treat concrete with densification through impregnation process using the Ashford Formula

4) Further steps of fine diamonds to polish and hone the surface

5) Full vitrification using phenolic diamonds producing upto a 3000 grit polished finish.
